MAY'S FLOWERS - CF242

MAY'S FLOWERS - CF242
Here's my latest pattern in the Monthly Doll Series and she's a real cutie. I had so much fun creating her. Her flowers were created using a process called "ruching" with a Yo-Yo used for the centers. She wears infant sized cloth sandals and I have to say that I really enjoy shopping for just the right baby shoes for my dolls. I think the reason why I enjoy this so much is that I so wanted just one little granddaughter to spoil and dress in all the cute little outfits they have for little girls nowadays but I only received grandsons - six of them to be exact! And I love every one of them but . . . . . I so wanted a little girl. So, I now have to be content with my little girl dolls with their little girl shoes!

She is so cute. I have to say I have been through the same thing with the kids. I wanted a little girl of my own and then would have been content with 5 boys but I couldn't have kids, so I adopted. It turned out to be an 18 month old little boy with fetal alcahol syndrom. Now he is 28 years old, was married but his wife left him and their infant son and ran off to who knows where. My son was unable to work and take care of the baby alone. So my husband and I are raising him. Wouldn't you know this little boy is my heart. He is 4 1/2 now. I have been making dolls off your patterns to give me something to do while at home with him. I love making the dolls as much as I love my little man. Never stopped wanting a little girl, so your dolls give me that and my heart is full! Thankyou!
